About ISVT - Islamic Society of Vermont

Mission Statement

The Islamic Society of Vermont, Inc. was formed in 1995 for the following purposes:

To expand and improve the Masjid

To establish an Islamic School for Muslim children and adults
To build an Islamic Cultural Center and Islamic Library
To provide burial services for Muslims
To acquire land for a cemetery and to maintain it
To conduct marriages in the Islamic way
To strengthen the bonds among Muslims in the State of Vermont
To carry out religious, charitable, educational, literary, social and other activities pertaining to the realization of an Islamic way of life
To make Islam and Muslims better understood by others
To promote friendly relations with other religious groups and associations in the State of Vermont
To cooperate with other organizations to advance these goals.
